For the primary time I used CC and
selected the best quote (from 8 that responded) from eCruiseStore.

My questions have been answered by telephone & e-mail; docs arrived well timed & they
threw in a free bottle of champagne,
free cruise pic & lunch (value $15)
@ Pinnacle Grill on my Hal cruise.

What’s not to love with all that????

Most competent travel agent would do all that ….. that is part of their service.

If they have group bookings, they may throw in free gifts (or buying credits within the ship’s boutique), ahip board credit, bottle of wine, fruit baskets and so on.

You’re absolutely right Eschew.
However, what I gleaned from the OP’s query was whether CC’s corporations had been respected & followed via. Therefore my reponse.

I’ve booked 1 cruise via Cruise Compete. It’s sooner or later, Mar/Apr 2009. I have to say I just like the concept and acquired a greater worth than I might have ordinarily by way of other means. I do wish I had been warned about or perhaps paid attention to eCruiseStore’s coverage prematurely of proceeding with the booking. Additionally beware utilizing your bank card with there prepay the whole cruise plan (EFT, I believe it is known as), they “indavertently” charged my card 2 months in a row for the whole cruise. I did get it straightened out, although. so all is well
I am unable to wait to go

Here is a duplicate of the coverage I am referring to above

A CANCELLATION Price of 10% of your vacation package deal can be assessed on any
cancelled/transferred bookings.
This is an agency policy and is in addition to every other penalties levied by the cruise lines.
For your protection we recommend TravelSafe Insurance coverage. Please assessment the enclosed Insurance bundle and you should definitely signal and return the Insurance Acceptance/Declining Forms.
$20 NON-REFUNDABLE Administrative Price has been applied to your booking.

Posters didn’t seem to grasp my OP – I wished reactions to the three companies that quoted to my CruiseCompete request. Oh properly, we booked with Cruises-n-More. We’ll see whether it works out O.Ok. Thus far the particular person (Chelle) I’ve been dealing with has been super!

I’ve booked 2 cruises utilizing cruises-n-extra via CC. Each went off without any problems. One among them threw in a free image which we have been unaware of until we acquired a be aware on board the ship. Would not hesitate to make use of them again. Hope this sets your thoughts at ease. Have a fantastic journey.

I’ve booked a number of times with Cruises N More, never any problems. I also use Cruise compete, good source for pricing.

I imagine cruise compete has grow to be very successful as a result of they don’t deal with any agencies which aren’t 100% legit. It is a win-win scenario on each sides

I in all probability should not say this, however on a earlier cruise we made friends with a gal who now works for a web based agency. I referred to as her and informed her the deal I got on Cruise Compete and so they matched it.

Now we have used CC and booked two or three times, but I’d solely go with an agency which is respected and doesn’t have a cancellation cost. I have referred to as the ‘too good to be true’ small companies who responded on CC and found them to have ‘made an error’ in their quote.
That having been stated, the mainline businesses who’ve responded have given higher quotes on CC than they’ve listed on their own websites.

I have used www.cruisedeals.com and have nice success. They seem to be able to give decrease prices and good service. I have booked twice now with them and that i shop all around before booking.

I exploit Gail at extension 134.

Good Luck!

We have used them several times for quotes. Unfortunately, we had a foul expertise last year with one in every of their vendors. We received a quote for a special cabin class on a Princess Europe crusing that was over $500 cheaper, I referred to as the same day to try to e-book. Couldnt reach the agent, the next day I was advised the quote was a mistake and so they would not honor it. Although I had it in writing . I complained to no avail.

You too can see user evaluations of the agents who quote you on CruiseCompete, hyperlinks to BBB reports, and what number of earlier bookings they have by means of the service. This is also useful in choosing an agent.

Do you know that CruiseCompete now has a site for all-inclusive resorts:

http://www.ResortCompete.com

Identical concept as CruiseCompete. Needs to be attention-grabbing to see how it really works…

We wish the lowest possibe fare.

We use cruise compete frequently and have used cvc and cruises-n-more on numerous events. Now we have all the time had good service, both agencies have given us price reductions on request when the worth decreased previous to remaining cost. We don’t like gifts with the exception of a cabin credit score. We wish the lowest possibe fare. We use the net extensively for land and air journey.

I’ve booked with eCruiseStore.com earlier than and so they do waive their cancellation penalty for most of there cruises. You just have to ask the agent as I did. They had been very easy to work with and we had an amazing cruise experience!
